collectible hobby market.As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be
responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of TCGplayer's
Point-of-Sale product through rigorous testing and quality
assurance practices. You will be uplifting legacy applications into
a microservice based architecture using the latest and greatest
technologies. You will work closely with other development teams to
bring a cohesive and intuitive selling experience to our customers
across TCGplayer's suite of tools. Due to the criticality of
point-of-sale software to a seller's business, your role on this
team is especially impactful. If you're an experienced and

What you will accomplish:
- Build a best-in-class Point Of Sale system for Local Game Stores, used by thousands of customers domestically and internationally, allowing them to profitably grow their business in an omni-channel environment.
- Write automated tests to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of the platform.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Mentor and guide junior quality engineers, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.
- Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to
drive innovation in quality assurance practices.What you will
bring:
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of relevant industry, or Relevant Master's Degree plus 4 years of relevant industry, or 11 years of practical experience.
- Hands-on development experience in one or more back-end object-oriented programming languages (preferably C# and TypeScript)
- Experience automating testing of REST API and Kafka contracts
- Experience with testing frameworks like Playwright
- Experience with Contract Testing (using Pact)
- Experience with event processing mechanisms such as Kafka
- Experience with automating tests (load, API, integration, functional) within CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with load testing, preferably with JMeter and/or BlazeMeter
- Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership and
