Job Description:

Summary:Supports the brand and product strategy by coordinating product launches, ensuring on-time and accurate delivery of assets, product and packaging changes/updates. Ensures all projects meet budget and quality standards, coordinating each event with key stakeholders.--Primary Responsibilities:--1 - Executes on key tasks to ensure product lifecycle development goals are met or exceededPlays critical role in executing tasks that ensure product launches are effective and meet all associated target dates and metricsCoordinates closely with retail team on new product launch project schedules, including cross-functional coordination of deliverables, review of graphic requirements, obtaining packaging approvals, review of regulatory requirements (FDA/USDA), third party certifications (GFCO)Keeps all key stakeholders abreast of activity and holds others accountable to achieve against timelines and standardsMaintains all product specification documentation for La Terra Fina products (new and legacy items), ensuring up-to-date status and revision accuracySupport the development of creative briefs for new products and marketing tactics, in collaboration with package design team & consumer marketing team--2 - Enforces brand alignment on all packaging updates and revisionsReviews packaging and product updates for brand alignment, interpreting key aspects of the brand as described in the brand strategyConfirms requirements for packaging updates and changes with key stakeholdersDevelops timeline, confirming with key stakeholders such as sales, R&D and procurement for changes, make ready dates and roll out timingCoordinates with internal and external stakeholders for timing and deliverables to ensure on time and on budget roll outs to meet market/customer needs including trafficking of all assets through development and approval process through to printers and delivery for final production and market readiness3 - Administers customer and product support Provides appropriate information to Sales team on new product placement paperwork for new customers and/or new productsCoordinates and finalize product specification upload to OneWorld Sync and other platforms as defined by customerEnsures product assets (such as product images, recipes, etc.) as defined by management are produced and delivered on time, on budget and within specificationFacilitates the launch of new products--5 - Assists in market research to identify trends and needsPartners with marketing team to support market research projectsCompares competitors' product lines in relation to current and future offerings as defined by project requirementsLearns to apply analytical processes and toolsResponsible for maintaining the competition analysis process up to date and accurate; implement new data coming from different sources and present findings as needed6 - Provides the Sales team with new product presentations and data as neededCoordinates gathering of collaterals and sales presentations that incorporate consumer and industry insights to build strong product sell stories.Develops compelling launch deck with accurate and complete information, using templates as guidelineUpdates sell sheets and collaterals using graphic design software7 - Manages external vendors - under the direction of Sr. Product ManagerReviews projects with necessary vendors for meeting timelines and deliverablesEnsures designers, printers and related vendors remain on task and committed to timelinesMakes recommendations to management for problem solving and changes when needed8 - Performs other duties as required?Background RequirementsBA/BS degree in a related field required. A minimum of 2-4 years' in product marketing and/or product management department where print production and product coordination are required. Must have the utmost skills with regard to managing detail, as this role is a gatekeeper between internal and external execution on all product related materials, including packaging and product specification. A background in conducting product-related analytics is helpful, with a keen interest in learning and advancing technical/analytical skill. Must have excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to effectively hold others accountable to timelines and deadlines. Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to get things accomplished with accuracy and timeliness. Must have the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities simultaneously. Excellent communication skills are required, both internally and externally, to manage expectations and drive desired results. Must demonstrate a personal commitment to continuous improvement and learning. Adobe Suite proficiency a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Familiar with label and artwork management Software (Blue/ ProofHQ---)
