Position SummaryThe Human Health Product Manager - Chemistry
Diagnostics is the key champion for the Zoetis Human Health Blood
Chemistry Diagnostic Products. The Product Manager carries the
vision for the Human Health Chemistry Diagnostic platform according
to global Human Health strategy, competitive positioning and market
dynamics. In close partnership with Global Commercial and Technical
Support teams, the Product Manager works cross functionally with
VMRD (Zoetis Research & Development), ZTD (Zoetis Tech & Digital)
and GMS (Zoetis Global Manufacturing and Supply), Zoetis Regulatory
Affairs, Zoetis Quality Assurance, Zoetis Product Support Group and
third-party contractors to initiate, manage and execute on-market
product support and future product innovations for the Human Health
point-of-care blood chemistry diagnostics line.The Product Manager
maintains a deep connection and understanding with the global Human
Health point-of-care blood chemistry markets to develop and
maintain the optimum Product Backlog for Zoetis Human Health
chemistry diagnostics products and services.Reporting to the Head
of Human Health, the Product Manager - Chemistry Diagnostics will
deploy excellent verbal and written communication skills to enlist
and secure the support of executive sponsors and cross-functional
teams. The Product Manager will be adept at navigating the Zoetis
procedures and will be able to generate and secure the approval of
all product-related documentation.Responsibilities
- Drive and manage all aspects of new Human Health product
launches and on-market product support initiatives across global
markets; supporting customers, colleagues and division goals and
objectives
- Define market requirements and manage Piccolo Product Backlog
by:
- Maintaining a deep understanding of the customer's needs across
global point-of-care blood chemistry diagnostics markets
- Having an in-depth knowledge of Human Health care delivery
models in key markets across the globe
- Aligning with commercial and technical support teams on
product-related objectives
- Proposing and prioritizing product updates and
improvements
- Understanding and adhering to the Zoetis R&D and Global
Manufacturing processes and procedures
- Preparing ROI, forecasts and risk assessments for project
proposals
- Preparing MAR submissions for GMS awareness & approval
- Aligning with Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance
teams
- Lead cross-functional project teams and manage project
deliverables through project completion
- Deliver on open items in the Product Backlog in accordance with
planned release schedules
- Operate as the product owner in ZTD software release
process
- Be product evangelist and internal advocate
- Communicate regularly with Commercial and Support teams on
product updates and deployment plans
- Develop presentations for status updates and future strategies

- Ability to travel as necessary including global travel per

- Level of Education and Qualifications:
- University/Graduate Degree or equivalent experience

- Minimum 5+ years experience Human Health Diagnostics product
management
- Technical understanding of clinical chemistry principles and
modalities
- Proven ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple
projects simultaneously

- Administration and Management: Knowledge and experience with
technical, regulatory and reimbursement aspects of medical clinical
laboratory diagnostics; interaction with distributor partners,
finance; marketing, sales, strategic planning, resource allocation,
production methods, leadership techniques, and coordination of
people and resources.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and time
management skills.
- Proficiency in software applications such as SAP, ServiceNow,
Veeva Vault, Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel.
- Self starter - ability to understand what needs to be done and
then takes the initiative to do it.
