Technologist for a travel job in Napa, California. Job Description
& Requirements - Specialty: Surgical Technologist - Discipline:
Allied Health Professional - Duration: 9 weeks - 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Summary: We are
seeking an experienced OR Tech / Surgical Tech for a 9-week travel
contract. Candidates must have strong cardiovascular and neuro
surgical experience. This role supports a busy surgical unit with a
variety of procedures and will require flexibility with floating
and on-call assignments. Responsibilities: - Assist in surgical
operations under the supervision of surgeons and registered nurses.
- Prepare operating rooms, arrange equipment, and help with
prepping patients. - Maintain a sterile environment throughout
surgical procedures. - Handle surgical instruments and supplies
efficiently and accurately. - Support heart and neuro surgery
cases, with potential to float to similar units. - Comply with
infection control and safety procedures. Key Requirements
Education: - Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
(required). Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of recent experience
in an acute care setting. - Heart and neuro surgical experience is
required. - First-time travelers are accepted. License &
Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required - California
Surgical Tech license – Active and in hand Skills: - Proficiency in
cardiovascular and neurological surgical support - Strong
organizational and communication skills - Experience with EPIC
charting system - Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-acuity
