Job Description PHP is seeking a travel nurse RN Case Management
for a travel nursing job in Santa Cruz, California. Job Description
& Requirements - Specialty: Case Management - Discipline: RN -
Start Date: 06/30/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week -
Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Unit Notes:- Unit:
Cardiac Cath Lab - Float to OCU - of Suites: 2 suites; 4-14 cases
per day - Certs: BLS, ACLS for nurses; techs also need CVT, RT, CA
Fluro. - Ratios: 1 to 1 - EMR: Techs will scrub and do hemodynamic
monitoring; nurses do sedation monitoring - Charge Nurse: Yes, no
patients - Nurse Aides: No, do use cath lab techs for scrubbing and
hemodynamic monitoring - Weekend Requirement: Call twice a month on
weekends - Call: Twice a month - Holidays: Rotate w/ perm staff -
Scrub Color: Provided by hospital - Tele: N/A - Vents: N/A -
Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Cardiologist - IV Team: Nurses
start own - RT 24/7: Yes - Pharmacy 24/7: Yes - Shifts: Business
hour shifts and then call for coverage - Floating: Float to OCU -
Floor specific orientation: Depends on experience and if a nurse or
a tech - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: STEMI, TAVERS,
interventional and diagnostic caths, TAVR, EVAR (Endovascular
Aneurysm Repair), cardio mams, no IR, implants - Additional Notes:
Techs will scrub and do hemodynamic monitoring; nurses do sedation
monitoring; RNs need concious sedation testing as part of protocol
Cancellation Policy:Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13 week
assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks
Charting System:Cerner BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes
Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Nursing Shift Notes:8 hr
Days, float to OCU, EOW, First to Float Required
