Care Packard Medical Group, Inc. Menlo Park, CA Packard Medical
Group, Inc. (PMG) is actively recruiting an Associate Medical
Director for Pediatric Specialty Care to join our well-established
group. Packard Medical Group (PMG) contracts with Packard
Children’s Health Alliance (PCHA) to provide professional medical,
research and/or administrative services at clinics operated by
PCHA. PCHA is the preeminent medical foundation that owns and
operates multi-specialty medical outpatient clinics, to support,
benefit and further the charitable, scientific and educational
purposes of Lucile Salter Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford
(LPCH). PCHA and LPCH are known in the marketplace as Stanford
Medicine Children’s Health (SMCH). The primary care and specialist
practices that make up PCHA represent approximately 200 physicians
and mid-level practitioners across 15 specialties employed by PMG,
with practices located in Northern California. This role may have
interactions and collaboration opportunities with Stanford School
of Medicine. The Role: The Associate Medical Director (AMD) for
Pediatric Specialty Care serves as a pivotal medical leader within
PMG and PCHA. The AMD of Specialty Care Services will provide
medical leadership and oversee administrative activities for the
clinical services offered by Packard Medical Group physicians as
the LPCH Medical Foundation. This role is essential in maintaining
high standards of medical and patient care, enhancing the
reputation of the ambulatory clinic sites, and optimizing the use
of clinic facilities and resources. This role reports to the
Medical Director of PCHA and partners with the PCHA Associate
Medical Director for Primary Care, executive leaders, directors,
managers, providers, other clinicians, and administrative staff to
provide high quality specialty care and services offered. The
incumbent will ensure that physician perspectives are integrated
into clinic operations, including goal setting, budget decisions,
strategic initiatives, workflow standardization, space allocation,
issue resolution, compliance, and effective communication with
clinical services. The AMD for Pediatric Specialty Care will lead
the development of the network’s specialty care physician offices
and clinics associated with SMCH and its care delivery system
consistent with the vision, values, mission and strategic
priorities of PCHA and SMCH. Other key focus areas include
standardization of processes, ensuring high-quality patient
experiences, optimization of medical and technical resources,
financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, and ensuring seamless
continuity of care. The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will
be an outstanding and respected specialty or primary care
pediatrician who possesses a deep understanding of the complexities
of academic and community medicine, including how to leverage the
strengths of an integrated care model. The successful candidate
will have experience building fellowship, trust and have the skills
to effectively engage teams and diverse stakeholder groups across
the Stanford Medicine enterprise, as well as a proven track record
building teams that achieve desired outcomes. Qualifications &
Experience: Requires a Board-Certified pediatrician (MD/DO) in
primary care and relevant specialty (as applicable) with a deep
passion for, commitment to, and track record of accomplishment in
clinical care delivery. Must be eligible and maintain appropriate
hospital privileges. Requires 3 to 5 years of administrative and
leadership experience, having served as a senior clinical leader
with community and/or academic experience. An outstanding leader
who inspires, builds, motivates and holds teams and physicians
accountable is a must; a demonstrated ability to identify and
recruit high-performing and diverse teams. Collaborative
relationship-building skills in a matrixed environment, with an
ability to successfully partner and build consensus with key
internal and external stakeholders. A dedicated clinician with an
outstanding reputation for clinical excellence with an active
clinical practice. Experience building clinical programs, in
alignment with organizational priorities and patient needs.
Excellent listening and communication skills. Financial acumen and
deep understanding of payment methodology, physician incentives and
cost control techniques. Proven commitment to create and maintain a
culture of inclusion, diversity, and professional fulfillment.
Experience developing and implementing value-based care and
population health strategies preferred. Candidates must meet
requirements for licensure in the state of California. Our

year-round options We Offer: Base Salary of $410,000 - $425,000
Signing Bonus: Up to $30,000 (repayment of three years) Annual
Incentive Plan: 15.00% - Target | Maximum incentive as a percentage
of Base Salary Relocation: Reimbursement for standard/allowable
