JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Hematology & Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Turlock, CA Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Jun 01, 2026 Sep 01, 2026 Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 8a 5p Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 25 Rounding: Assigned Patients FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Varian for Clinic / Cerner Hospital Support Staff: MAs: 1, PA/NPs: 1 Trauma Level: III PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC in Hematology & Oncology Licenses: Licensed in CA Certifications: BLS Duties & Responsibilities Provide full-time hematology and oncology clinical services in an outpatient setting. Maintain a patient volume of approximately 25 patients per day. Perform rounding on assigned patients as required. Collaborate with support staff including MAs and PA/NPs to ensure quality patient care. Utilize Varian and Cerner EMR systems for clinical documentation.
