Career Opportunities: Merchandising Coordinator, Apparel (5049) Requisition ID--5049-----Posted--03/22/2021-----Union City, CA-----Apparel-----Temporary This position is an entry level position that lives within the Product Management/Merchandising track. As a Merchandising Coordinator you will work closely with the apparel product managers from beginning to end of the product lifestyle, ensuring that critical projects and work flow are completed to bring product to market. It is a highly collaborative position. Candidate must demonstrate team's values and practices by maintaining effective collaborative relationships, taking pride in the company and brand, and embracing dynamics of our ever changing business. This position is contract to hire. Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for entering information and ensuring its accuracy and timeliness in the data management system (PLM).
• Responsible for the accuracy of assigned product catalog, sales tools, and ariat.com information.
• Manage and organize samples for storage and presentation display.
• Coordinate with cross department calendars and ensure PMs are aware of deadlines to be met.
• Responsible for projects that will require understanding and researching consumer needs and trends.
• Partner with team to create sales meeting presentation and sell in materials
• Support regular pricing analyses and market trend research.
• Analyze sell-in and sell-thru to create monthly best seller recaps.
• Understand and support fiscal top line sales and gross margin targets.
  Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree, in a related field of study or equivalent functional expertise
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptionally detail oriented, with strong organizational capabilities
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Flexible and adaptable in fast paced environment
  • Strong computer knowledge: Microsoft Excel/ Word, Powerpoint
  • Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems is a plus
  • Passion for apparel and business
  • Knowledge of the Western, English, or Work lifestyle is a plus
