Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Radiation Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: - First-timers accepted - Weekend availability required for on-call shifts - Specific charting experience in Epic Description: Variable shift starts can be between 7 AM and 8:30 AM. Day shift ranges from 6 AM to 6 PM depending on patient schedule. 8-hour shifts required. On-call only on weekends from 8 AM to 4 PM on a rotating basis. Travelers may float between similar units as needed. Travelers are expected to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. RTO must be included at the time of submission. References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting required. Incomplete submissions may not be considered. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. Travelers should look into housing options in the area as they may be limited. Modules are non-billable, averaging 16 hours spent. Time spent on modules is self-reported. Completion of modules is recorded in transcripts. Travelers may be expected to share communication devices as needed for duties.
