As a member of the MACH team, you'll be joining the most sophisticated and successful process-control company in the semiconductor industry--working across functions to solve the most complex technical problems in the digital age.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsIn this exciting role as an HPC Hardware Computer Product Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Design, and implement HPC server platform for use in high-volume semiconductor fabs with high availability
• Select, qualify and integrate components into the final design considering cost v. performance trade-offs.
• Develop & implement test plans to assess quality of components used in manufacturing and long-term (15yr +) sustaining support of hardware servers
• Understand and work closely with software applications hosted on server platform
• Perform SW-HW co-design while minimizing costs
• Perform QA testing of computer hardware and validating target software applications
• Evaluate effectiveness of existing server designs and recommend essential changes for continuous improvement & field support
• Work with third party HW & SW suppliers and system integrators
• Own beta installations and support customer field escalationsQualifications:
  • BS/MS in Computer Engineering or related discipline
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience building computer systems running Linux and VMware
  • Solid understanding of virtualization concepts
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware
  • Experience deploying TCP/IP networking
