tablets, Fire TV and Amazon Echo. What will you help us create? As
a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will work closely with
cross-functional teams to innovate and deliver high-performance,
low-power, stable connectivity platform for world class consumer
products. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed
within an open and collaborative peer environment. In this role,
you will: -Design, develop and enhance Wi-Fi and networking
software for Amazon's consumer products; -Optimize Wi-Fi and
network performance and power consumption for connectivity
platforms; -Engage with vendors to integrate Wi-Fi chipset
solutions; -Collaborate with other software teams to design and
deliver unique customer features on top of Wi-Fi for next-gen
Amazon products; -Provide Amazon Customer Support technical
assistance to trouble shoot customer issues. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS -
7 years of non-internship professional software development
experience - 5 years of programming with at least one software
programming language experience - 5 years of leading design or
architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and
existing systems experience - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or
leading an engineering team - 3 years of hands-on experience in
delivering Wi-Fi/networking based products PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of full software development life cycle, including coding
standards, code reviews, source control management, build
processes, testing, and operations experience - Master's degree in
computer science or equivalent - 3 years of experience and
knowledge on IEEE802.11/Wi-Fi protocols such as Wi-Fi Direct, WPA,
802.11ac/ax, and etc. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP internals and
common network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, HTTP, and etc. Amazon

the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base
pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year in our lowest
geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic
market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market
location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills,
