Job Description:

a Principal Software Engineer specializing in Android to help
develop and enhance our mobile applications that serve millions of
customers worldwide. In this role, you will lead the design and
development of Android applications while collaborating with
cross-functional teams to integrate cutting-edge technologies and
improve user experiences. This opportunity blends advanced
technical challenge with the chance to directly impact our
customer's shopping experience in significant ways. Design and
develop advanced applications for the Android platform. Collaborate
with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new
features. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other
software engineers. Ensure the robustness, performance, and
responsiveness of applications. Continuously discover, evaluate,
and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Lead the entire application lifecycle from concept to delivery and
post-launch support. Proven software development experience in
Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK. Strong understanding of Android UI
design principles, patterns, and best practices. Experience with
offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. Ability to
design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

401k Google Developers Certification (Associate or Professional
Android Developer) is preferred. Certification in Agile
methodologies is highly regarded.
