Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Senior Data Platform & Lakehouse
Engineer About the Role We are seeking an experienced data
engineering leader who can architect, scale, and modernize an
enterprise-grade data ecosystem. This role will focus on maturing
our Data Lakehouse environment, strengthening data quality and
governance, and ensuring the platform supports analytics, product
needs, and cross-team workflows. You will be a key contributor in
shaping the company's future data strategy. What You'll Own Build,
enhance, and maintain the data pipelines, transformation models,
and integrations that serve as the foundation of the enterprise
data platform. Implement automated monitoring, data-lineage
tracking, and validation frameworks to ensure data reliability,
accuracy, and full traceability across domains. Lead the planning
and definition of a company-wide data strategy, partnering with
leadership and technical teams to create a sustainable long-term
vision. Design and implement a modern Data Lakehouse
architecture-including ingestion patterns, transformation layers,
and orchestration workflows. Serve as the subject matter expert on
structuring a Lakehouse using Databricks Unity Catalog and
best-in-class governance patterns. Approach platform decisions
using a product-oriented mindset, ensuring data assets and features
are built with user fit, adoption, and long-term usability in mind.
Use Databricks for ingestion, transformation pipelines,
orchestration tasks, and workflow management. Architect, develop,
and manage reliable ETL/ELT pipelines that bring data from source
systems into centralized repositories. Scale the data platform to
support higher volumes, broader use cases, and increased
performance demands. Integrate key business applications into the
data platform, including CRM, financial systems, and SaaS-based
data sources. Use a programming language commonly applied in data
engineering (Python preferred) to implement automation and
transformation logic. What You Bring Required Qualifications 7
years designing, building, and maintaining pipelines, models, and
data integrations for enterprise environments. 7 years implementing
automated monitoring, validation, and lineage frameworks for data
quality and transparency. 3 years defining or contributing to an
organization-wide data strategy. 3 years architecting and
delivering Data Lakehouse solutions-including ingestion,
transformation, and orchestration. Deep expertise in Data Lakehouse
structuring, specifically with Databricks Unity Catalog. A
product-centric approach: ability to evaluate how users interact
with data products and shape designs based on usability and
adoption, not just technical feasibility. 1 year working with
Databricks for ingestion, transformation, and orchestration
workflows. 5 years architecting ETL/ELT pipelines moving data from
source systems into centralized environments. 2 years scaling data
platforms to support growth and increased complexity. 2 years
integrating critical applications into a centralized data ecosystem
(experience with Salesforce, Addepar, iCapital, or similar systems
is a plus, not a requirement). Working proficiency in a programming
language commonly used in data engineering (Python strongly
preferred). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related
field. Very Nice to Have Experience incorporating AI capabilities
into data strategy or platform design. Experience working with
Salesforce-data warehouse integrations or connections to financial
systems. Why This Role Is Impactful You'll be a core influence in
how the organization organizes, governs, and activates its data.
Your work will create the foundation for analytics, automation, and
future product capabilities - including the potential integration
of AI-driven components. Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $200,000.00
