Our Insurance Coverage practice group is seeking an experienced and
motivated Associate Attorney or Senior Counsel to join our growing

impact for our clients. Position Overview: As a member of our
Insurance Coverage practice group , the Associate Attorney or
Senior Counsel will provide legal counsel and strategic advice to
clients in matters related to insurance coverage, including
litigation and dispute resolution. The successful candidate will be
responsible for drafting legal memoranda, conducting research,
advising clients, and representing clients in insurance coverage
disputes. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled attorney with
experience in insurance coverage law to advance their career at a
top-tier law firm. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in
insurance coverage disputes, including pre-litigation, litigation,
and appeals. Provide legal advice to clients regarding insurance
policy interpretation, coverage issues, and claims disputes. Draft,
review, and analyze insurance policies, agreements, and related
legal documents. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to
support client cases and strategies. Prepare legal memoranda,
pleadings, motions, and other court filings. Manage and coordinate
cases from inception through resolution, including settlement
negotiations. Advise clients on risk management strategies and
emerging insurance issues. Work collaboratively with colleagues and
clients, providing proactive and practical legal solutions.
Maintain and manage client relationships, ensuring high-quality
service and satisfaction. Mentor and assist junior attorneys and
legal staff as needed. Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law
school and active bar membership in California. For Associate
Attorney: 2-4 years of experience in insurance coverage law. For
Senior Counsel: 5 years of experience in insurance coverage law
with a proven track record of handling complex cases. Strong
understanding of insurance policies and coverage issues, including
but not limited to general liability, property, and professional
liability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to
manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships. Strong
attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work
independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with both coverage counseling and litigation. Experience
representing clients in state and federal courts. Advanced degree
or certification in insurance law (e.g., AIC, CPCU) is a plus.
Experience with appellate work or handling complex coverage
disputes is preferred. Strong business acumen and a client-focused
