We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineering
Manager. This position requires an experienced professional
with a successful track record leading embedded software
development engineering teams. Our ideal candidate exhibits a
can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and
determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate
excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to
learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced
environment.
The Role:
- You will be leading software engineering teams building
best-in-class cabin experience information and entertainment
systems.
- You will hire and lead top engineering talent with a focus on
OTA updating, drivers, low-level systems and
optimization.
- Lead and grow a talented team of embedded software developers
and controls engineers within the software organization
- Ensure teams deliver high quality production code that is safe,
well architected, fast, reliable, and testable
- Work with other engineering managers and technical Leads to set
and communicate technical direction and product strategies while
anticipating strategic and scaling challenges.
- Work with other engineering managers to ensure reliable and
up-to-date documentation
- Work with your team, technical program managers and external
stakeholders to plan, prioritize and execute against an engineering
roadmap
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Senior Level People Manager, guiding the
software development team, implementing process, setting and
achieving goals.
- You will have experience in mobile, embedded and firmware
systems as a hands-on leader.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced
environment
- Consistent record of developing products with an eye for
simplicity
Advantageous:
- Experience working with OEM partners
- Experience in automotive development
Education
- BS or MS in the areas of Computer Science, Computer
engineering, Electrical engineering or related experience
