OverviewManages analysis and workflow processes & requirements associated with account assignment, territory realignment, lead slip management, and RTM optimization for CaliforniaDuties and Responsibilities* Solid line report to CA VP of Commercial Strategy * Collaborate with leaders from complementary functions and divisions related to account assignment account transfer, and RTM optimization on various projects and enhancements * Engage and communicate with VP's of commercial sales divisions regarding account assignment and territory realignment processes and approvals * Ensuring integrity and adherence to enhanced workflow processes throughout the account assignment lifecycle from front-line management up to VPs of commercial sales * Analyze and provide objective recommendations on account assignments for new and existing accounts across CA based on a prescribed set of criteria and parameters * Evaluate needs and serviceability requirements for new customers based on a prescribed set of criteria * Validate account assignment request changes submitted by sales teams and provide assignment recommendations based on subsequent analysis* Drive the lead slip assignment process whereby leads are accessed from the CA ABC website, streamlined through an automated system, and distributed to sales teams across the state to pursue * Engage with Regional VPs and/or Sales Managers as needed to analyze and optimize specific routes or teams to ensure they are aligned with state RTM structure and parameters * Examine and analyze existing routes and territories to identify and surface inequities and imbalances in account counts, dollar volume, and/or geographical range/proximity* Prepare periodic reports or recaps based on account routing, lead slip development, and RTM optimization data and insights * Analyze data and create reports that capture trends within the account and lead slip assignment processes * Work within the structural guidelines and parameters of the CA Account Assignment process and provide feedback and insights on ways to improve or optimize specific steps or components * Influence a positive company culture through the proactive development of analytics, tools, and technology leading to increased transparency, accountability and best practice for the business* Perform other job-related duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience* Advanced level command of MS Office Suite and/or software related to job functions * 1-year experience preferred in a corporate business analyst role* 1-year experience preferred in a CPG or technology sales rolePreferred Qualifications* Excellent digital, written, and verbal communication skills, especially with a management/VP-level audience * Advanced level of analytical skills and ability to use internal systems and external data sources (e.g. Sales Force, AS400/Sapphire)* Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills* Spirits/Wine Industry knowledge to include basic understanding of distribution, wine varietals and leading spirit categories preferredPhysical Demands* Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine* Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping* May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbsSouthern Glazer's Wine and Spirits provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
