Job Description:
Jon-Don is actively seeking - experienced, hard-working, and
enthusiastic restoration professionals to fill our Regional
Restoration Sales positions across the U.S.
Working in the disaster recovery profession can be challenging to
say the least. This can include long hours, taking emergency phone
calls at 2:00 AM, working with distressed home owners, black water,
mold, infectious diseases, and unspeakable odors.
It's a job that can be brutal, but also - incredibly rewarding .
There is no greater feeling than helping someone whose life has
just been turned upside down; also knowing that you are the hero
behind the disasters that make headline news.

Our Restoration Sales Reps function more like business consultants.
We engage with customers, on a personal level, and help them
achieve their business goals and vision.
We help with technical inquiries, give business development ideas,
recommend products and procedures, and connect contractors with
training opportunities. It's all about creating a long-term
mutually beneficial partnerships.
Network and Connect With Peers:
Restoration Sales Reps have a lot of face-to-face time with other
professionals and regularly network with the major players in the
industry.
Instructors, who you may have met/saw on only one seminar occasion,
may now become frequent visitors to can consult with. Some
contractors, who may have been your competition in the past, are
now people you can bounce ideas off of without a conflict of
interest due to the fact that you're all on the same team.
Jon-Don provides on-going education and training courses year
round. You'll have plenty of opportunities to continue to advance
your knowledge and earn industry certifications. You can attend
classes during the week at no cost to you.
Experience New Technologies:
Jon-Don works closely with top manufacturers; which gives us inside
connection on the newest technology in the industry. Occasionally,
we'll even get our hands on equipment for testing before it hits
the marketplace.
As a Restoration Sales Rep, you'll not only have a chance to
discover the newest technology right away, but you'll also be able
to provide feedback to manufacturers and ensure that the best
solutions are engineered for customers.
Travel:
Though a sales profession involves a lot of time on the phone and
at the computer, you're not chained to a desk. Our sales reps are
out and about, routinely visiting customers in the field.
Restoration Sales Reps also travel to key tradeshows and major
disaster events all over the country. This provides on-the-ground
support to customers who are dealing with large-scale restoration
work.
Don't Retire Your Work Boots:
Jon-Don is not a suit-and-tie environment here; our office dress
code is business casual. Most reps find themselves in a polo shirt,
jeans, and work boots (especially when meeting with customers
either at the office or on a job).
Manage Your Territory Your Way:
Successful Sales Reps work hard, have an entrepreneurial attitude,
and enjoy running their own day. Your total compensation as a
restoration sales representative will be tied to the growth of your
territory profits. - We reward Sales Representatives based on
performance and NOT on longevity (uncapped commissions)!
Division managers provide guidance and support where needed, but
your territory is yours to manage. There are many opportunities for
growth, both within your own territory and within the company.
As a Restoration Sales Rep, you'll have more control over your
schedule. Though you may still field some emergency calls late at
night or early in the morning, you won't be rushing out the door to
perform emergency response work every time the phone rings. Your
role, as a consultant, is to provide advice and assistance to
troubleshoot jobs for our customers over the phone.
The Restoration Sales Representative's duties may include, but is
not limited to, the following:
Local travel to client locations (some overnight may be
required)
Systematic solicitation of targeted commercial prospects through
face-to-face contact within a zone (B2B cold calling)
Developing professional relationships with customers (both in
person and over the phone)
Proactively selling solutions to our customer's problems (whether
it's providing products and technical advice or helping our
customers build their businesses)
Assisting customers with buying decisions
Identifying incremental sales opportunities within our existing
customer base
Providing product and technical advice
Learning about new products and industry trends
Attending product and industry seminars and training events
Working together, as a part of our nationwide sales team
Successful Candidates Will Possess:
Bachelors Degree
Restoration sales experience a plus
Proven track record in Restoration product sales
2-5 years outside sales experience, B2B preferred
Competitive, driven personality
Strong communication skills
Positive attitude and high energy
Demonstrated ability to close new business
